PATIENTS WITH MOBILITY NEEDS

If your patient has any mobility needs that we should be aware of to help support them during their exam, please include this information on the requisition with as much detail as possible.

ONLINE BOOKING FOR PATIENTS

In September, patients will have the option to book select exams directly through our online portal. This new feature expands on our current system, which allows patients to request appointments. More details will be available in September on our website at radiology.ca.

STAT REQUESTS

We recognize the vital importance of timely imaging in patient care and remain committed to accommodating STAT requests whenever possible. However, we’ve seen a recent increase in the number of exams marked as STAT. To help us manage resources efficiently and ensure prompt care for those who need it most, we kindly ask that the STAT designation be used only for truly urgent cases requiring immediate imaging. Appropriate use of STAT requests allows us to prioritize critical cases and maintain timely service for all patients. Thank you for your continued partnership in delivering quality care.

EMAIL FOR UPDATES

To enhance communication and provide more timely service updates, we recommend transitioning from fax to email. If you’d like to start receiving updates by email, please send your name, company name, and preferred email address to bd@radiology.ca. If you’re already receiving updates by email, no further action is required.

Please note: Patient exam reports cannot be sent via email.
