We understand the critical role that timely imaging plays in patient care and remain dedicated to fulfilling STAT requests whenever feasible. Recently, however, there has been a noticeable rise in the number of exams labeled as STAT.

To help us manage resources effectively and ensure the best care for all patients, we kindly ask that STAT designation be reserved for cases that are truly urgent and require immediate imaging. Using STAT requests appropriately enables us to prioritize those with the most critical needs and maintain timely service for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to patient care.

NEW REQUISITION – DOWNLOAD TO EMR

We have recently updated our general requisition. This updated requisition includes revised fields to improve clarity and streamline patient care for breast imaging services. You can find this new requisition at physicians.radiology.ca. You can also download the new requisition to your EMR system and if you require printed copies, please let us know.

FAX VERSUS EMAIL FOR SERVICE UPDATES

To improve communication and ensure quicker updates, we encourage switching from fax to email. If you’d like to receive updates via email, please send your name, company name, and email address to bd@ radiology.ca. If you’re already receiving updates by email, no action is needed. Please note we are unable to email patient exam reports.
