STAT ULTRASOUNDS

We recognize the importance of urgent imaging and remain committed to accommodating STAT requests whenever possible. However, we have seen a recent increase in the number of exams marked as STAT.

To help us manage demand effectively, we kindly ask that exams be designated as STAT only when they are clinically urgent and require immediate attention. Appropriate use of STAT requests allows us to prioritize care for patients with the most critical needs and ensures timely access for all. Thank you for your understanding and continued cooperation.

COMPLETING REQUISITIONS

To ensure we can deliver accurate and timely reports for your patients, it is essential that all requisitions include complete and correct contact information. Please make sure the physician’s name, address, phone number, and PRAC ID are clearly provided on each requisition.

NEW REQUISITION

We have recently updated our general requisition. This updated requisition includes revised fields to improve clarity and streamline patient care for breast imaging services. You can find this new requisition at physicians.radiology.ca. You can also download the new requisition to your EMR system and if you require printed copies, please let us know.

For questions about images & reports, please call 306-569-9729 (press 5) or email: imagesandreports@radiology.ca. Calls are answered within one business day. Emails may
be answered sooner. You may also contact us at bd@radiology.ca if you have concerns with your reports.

FAX VERSUS EMAIL FOR UPDATES

To improve communication and ensure quicker updates, we encourage switching from fax to email. If you’d like to receive updates via email, please send your name, company name, and email address to bd@ radiology.ca. If you’re already receiving updates by email, no action is needed. Please note we are unable to email patient exam reports.
