LIVER ELASTOGRAPHY ULTRASOUND EXPANSION

We have expanded our elastography services to both our Aspen Landing and Crowfoot locations bringing our total clinics offering this exam to seven in Calgary – Beacon Heights, Castleridge, Coventry Hills, Mahogany Village, Market Mall and now Aspen Landing and Crowfoot.

BOOKING AVAILABILITIES

We currently have relatively immediate booking availabilities for the following exams and locations.

  • CT exams at our Mayfair Place location
  • Screening mammograms at our Crowfoot and Beacon Heights clinics
  • Bone mineral densitometry (BMD) exams at our Crowfoot and Beacon Heights clinics
  • Single cortisone (steroid) injections at our Castleridge and Cochrane clinics
  • Bone scan exams (nuclear medicine) at our Mayfair Place, Sunpark and Mahogany Village clinics

LOWERING BED FOR MOBILITY – COCHRANE

At our Cochrane clinic, we have recently added a lowering bed for patients with reduced mobility to assist when receiving pain therapy.

When faxing requisitions to Mayfair please do not use our local clinic fax numbers should you have them, unless specifically requested to do so by Mayfair.

21 LANGUAGES AVAILABLE ON PATIENT WEBSITE

Our patient website, radiology.ca, is available in 21 different languages. Patients can select their preferred language to access prep instructions, explanation of services, descriptions of exams, directions for our locations, as well as health and wellness articles. Patients can access this feature from our homepage at radiology.ca.

TRANSLATORS FOR PATIENTS AT EXAMS

If your patient prefers to communicate in a language other than English, they
should be encouraged to bring a family member or friend to their appointment to
assist with translation as certain exams require forms be completed at the time of the exam. As Mayfair does not provide language interpreters, it is essential for patients to make these arrangements in advance.
